Located in an historic downtown Toronto brownstone, PPD has a warm welcoming feel with some of the best post-production gear available. Our six edit suites are spacious and comfortable with lots of client amenities including high-speed internet connections. Our creative tools include a fully loaded Final Cut Pro Studio 2 HD online suite with a 5 Terrabyte Media storage tower, three Avid Symphony SD online suites, an Avid Media Composer Soft with SDI Mojo and an Avid Xpress Pro suite all connected to a 6 Terrabyte Media Server. Other facilities include: DVD Authoring, Closed Captioning, Voice-Over Booth, Logging Station, Media Backup Station, Central Equipment Dubbing Rack, and a large kitchen area where our clients enjoy free catered lunches.

Our editors have worked on many award-winning documentaries, broadcast series, broadcast promos, infomercials, commercials and corporate videos. Their work has aired on most major networks in Canada and internationally. Working both as part of a production team or on their own, our editors create interest and excitement for every viewer.

Bob Williamson, our Client Care Co-ordinator, is dedicated to exceeding all of your expectations. From welcoming you at the door, to scheduling your edit sessions, to satisfying your culinary desires, Bob is always there with a smile to help you.

Our extensive Digital Film Library has over 1000 animated and live video clips, which we provide royalty free and at no additional charge for any of your projects. The Sound Ideas sound effect libraries, are also available at no extra charge.

For your music requirements we have the Westar Music Library. With its online search engine found at www.westarmusic.com selecting high-quality music has never been easier. Our music licence fee is only $50 per track used in each version of a project.

Our media back-up service means that once a module is complete we can back-up the Avid digital files to tape or hard drive. If there is a last minute change to the module it can be quickly restored back onto our media server for revisions. This saves hours of time recreating complex layers and renders when a show needs changes.
